The Partnership

Six Red Marbles partnered with publishers and program owners to deliver Spanish-first and bilingual instructional programs across early literacy, language arts, and world language curricula. Key partners included Benchmark Adelante, Frog Street, Pearson, Vista Higher Learning, Curriculum Associates, HMH McDougal Littell, and Just Right Reader.

Each engagement required close coordination across editorial, production, and assessment teams to ensure linguistic integrity, cultural authenticity, and instructional coherence.

The Strategy

SRM applied a learning experience design approach that blended:

Apply transadaptation to preserve meaning, tone, and instructional intent across languages
Design Spanish-first instructional architectures grounded in linguistic and cultural norms
Build reusable Spanish style guides, term bases, and editorial conventions
Create English↔Spanish transfer and contrast maps to support parallel program alignment
Embed accessibility from the outset, including alt text, tagging, and PDF/UA compliance

This strategy ensured that financial literacy concepts were not only taught, but experienced and reinforced.
