Marble: Rhonda Fabian  

Interviewer: What is your position at Six Red Marbles? 

Marble: Curriculum Expert/Writer 

Interviewer: What does that position entail? 

Marble: My role at SRM is to craft outcome-aligned educational content that generates interest, involvement, and retention for learners. 

Interviewer: How did you become a part of Six Red Marbles? 

Marble: After 30+ years running my own educational media company, I wanted to continue applying my knowledge and commitment to genuine, learner-focused educational initiatives and steer clear of standard, formulaic content.   

Interviewer: What is the best part of your job? 

Marble: At SRM I have had the opportunity to help develop truly engaging and unusual curricula, on diverse topics from analog jazz recording to quantum physics, urban tunnel construction to Roman politics. Audiences have included middle schoolers visiting the World Trade Center, high school filmmakers, second graders learning about money, and young environmental scientists, among many others.  

Interviewer: What do you wish people knew about your work at Six Red Marbles? 

Marble: I wish people knew how many dedicated, skilled hands it takes to build excellent learning products. The editors and project managers I have worked with at SRM are superb at what they do. Systems integrators, developers, proofreaders, graphics coordinators—everyone at SRM is fully invested in creating next-level learning tools.    

Interviewer: What is a trend you see happening in the education space that you’re excited about? 

Marble: I feel hybrid learning models will make it possible to pursue any dream at any stage of life. Learning is lifelong, and we can now connect with master educators halfway around the world, as well as mentors in our own communities. Personalized learning experiences can include one-on-one mentorship, team projects, classroom learning, and virtual certification—all part of the new learning mix. I see SRM poised to contribute to this evolving landscape.   

Interviewer: What is one interesting fact about yourself that you’d like to share? 

Marble: I’m an ordained Buddhist and a recent grandmother!
